Dear Parents/Guardians,
Thank you for participating in the Parent/Teacher Conference on Oct. 20. We can’t do this without you and your help. Your involvement and interest will make a huge difference in your child’s learning experience. Ask your child each day: “What new thing did you learn today?” “Tell me some things about what you read today.” What is Bullying? Bullying is typically a form of repeated, persistent and aggressive behavior directed at an individual or individuals that is intended to cause fear and distress and/or harm to another person’s body, feelings, self-esteem, or reputation. Bullying occurs in a context where there is real or perceived power imbalance. At RVT we are taking Bullying seriously. Please talk with your child about the serious matter of bullying. I hope you Voted November 2, 2010. I will keep you updated on the various bills that will come before the Legislators this 60 day session.
